KALI MA Prayer Beads

This unique, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted prayer charm is made of 54 garnet, rainbow obsidian, and clear quartz crystal beads. resin skulls, hematite crystals, and garnet crystals. The beads are 10mm and each end of the charm is adorned with a resin skull guru bead. Each crystal has been meticulously hand-knotted on red hemp cord to provide the perfect amount of space between the beads. 

This piece is intuitively designed by Priestess Auset and has been ritually and magickally dedicated to the Hindu Goddess KALI MA. It is a half mala (54 beads), meaning a complete round of Kali’s mantra (108 recitations) is two rotations of the strand. These two rotations represent and pay honor to Kali Ma’s duality of Mother and Crone, as well as Her ties to creation/destruction and time/illusion.

KALI MA is the manifestation of the Divine Mother in Hindu society. She is most often depicted in Her destroyer aspect, with black skin, a skirt of human limbs, and a necklace of skulls. She is the creating force of the universe, and is the eternal power of time, order and chaos. She is dark and formless, and Her unlimited power of transformation is often compared to the black holes found in space. She destroys that which is no longer needed, creating a void from which all things are possible. KALI MA is the Shakti of Shiva, and also rules wild, untamed feminine strength.
